We previously designed a single‑use foot‑care blade that could be repurposed as a spatula—but it required metal hardware components, which I personally found rather inconvenient. This time, I’ve completely redesigned the tool, eliminating the need for any hardware accessories. I also refined the spatula’s angle so that when the sloped surface comes into contact with the print bed, there’s absolutely no adhesion or sticking to the build plate. When printing, it’s crucial to enable the brim feature—this is especially important because of thermal shrinkage. Without a brim, the model is prone to shifting once it reaches higher layers. Of course, I’m using PETG as my material; if you’re working with PLA, the results will generally be more stable. In addition, I’ve designed two different length options and two types of blade‑protecting covers, giving you the flexibility to choose the print settings that best suit your needs.
