Shanhai Jing Mecha Series 136 – “Chu Ti” Type II Twin‑Barreled Side‑Mounted Main Battle Tank
This series features mechas inspired by mythical creatures from the Shanhai Jing. Other notable series include the Bagua Mecha (based on famous mountains and rivers across China’s provinces, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Li, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and the Mythical Mecha (featuring characters from Chinese mythology, including Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).
The Shanhai Jing series is further divided into multiple sub‑series, including the Biological Form Series, Mechanical Form Series, Fighter Aircraft Series, Flying Vehicle Series, Warship Series, Combat Vehicle Series, Tank Series, Multi‑Purpose Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Rotary Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Engineering Armored Truck Series, and Military Armored Train Series, among others.
This particular model represents the sixth iteration in the third design variant of the Main Battle Tank.
First Variant: The 96 “Si” Type IV Single‑Horn Heavy Cannon Main Battle Tank
Second Variant: The 122 “Qie” Type II Defensive Armor Main Battle Tank
Third Variant: The 126 “Tiangu” Type II Laser Cannon Main Battle Tank
Fourth Variant: The 129 “Tianshen” Type III Dual‑Energy Cannon Main Battle Tank
Fifth Variant: The 131 “Bingfeng” Type II Twin‑Barreled Main Battle Tank
Simple to print, easy to assemble, lightweight yet sturdy, highly detailed, quick to build, resistant to breakage, requires no support structures during printing—and no glue needed for assembly!
Note: 1. If the parts are too tight to fit together by hand, simply use the included tool hammer to gently tap the connectors into place.
2. To prevent print failures, it’s best to apply a thin layer of adhesive or a light mist of release agent to the print bed—most print failures occur because the print surface is overly smooth.
Prints require no supports (though if your build plate isn’t adhesive, you can add a small skirt around the base). Assembly is completely glue‑free and requires no hardware—just apply firm pressure or give a gentle tap with a small hammer if parts feel a bit snug. This is an incredibly convenient, authentically Chinese-style assembly model!
Chu Ti:
A mythical creature from ancient Chinese lore: Beyond the Southern Sea, on the western bank of the Red River and east of the shifting sands, there dwells a beast with two heads—one on the left, one on the right—known as Chu Ti.
“Beyond the Southern Sea, west of the Red River and east of the shifting sands, there is a beast with two heads—one on the left, one on the right—called Chu Ti.” —Shanhai Jing: Great Wilderness, Southern Chapter
Assembly Guide:

Please note that this model’s orientation for assembly differs from other tank models—rotate it 90 degrees before fitting it together, as shown in the diagram below:
