812 Superfast Egg Car
Ferrari Series · Wheels are movable
This Q‑style egg car captures the sleek silhouette of the 812 Superfast, scaled down to fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. Its white body is accented with black windows and tires, while retaining the iconic features such as the dual air intakes at the front, slender headlights, side air vents, and rounded cabin—perfect for tabletop display or playful manual pushing.
Structure and Dimensions
The kit consists of nine printed parts: one body, four wheels, and four pins. The body measures approximately 70 mm long × 42.12 mm wide × 31.63 mm high—not the overall height after assembly. The front and rear wheels differ in size; please assemble them according to their respective part names. The wheels are secured with pins and can be manually rotated once assembled.
Printing and Assembly
Use the included ElegooSlicer 3MF software, configured for the Centauri Carbon 2 printer with a 0.4 mm nozzle, PLA filament in white and black, a layer height of 0.16 mm, default 4 wall layers, and 15% infill. The body utilizes automatic tree‑like supports; the four wheels and pins require separate support deactivation, with the pins laid horizontally, using 5 wall layers and 100% infill. Please retain the engineering placement, color separation, support painting, object parameters, and material‑removal tower settings.
After printing, remove supports and any burrs, then install the wheels according to their front/rear positions, ensuring the countersunk side faces outward. Align the flat portion of each pin with its corresponding hole in the body, gently pressing it along the axis without forcing it. Check rotational clearance on each wheel; if too tight, first clean away any burrs before applying further pressure.
The design has been saved in ElegooSlicer and reopened for inspection; no additional test prints were conducted this time. The Q‑style rendition does not aim for exact scale replication. Product showcase images have been processed via AI background and lighting adjustments based on user‑captured photos, preserving the original white-and-black color scheme and FDM layer texture—actual print results take precedence.
