Product Introduction:

This 3D-printed aquascape breaks away from the conventional “cozy harbor” theme, embracing a distinctive dark-fairy-tale style that infuses the aquarium with an air of mystery and magic. The main structure depicts the ruins of an ancient temple ravaged by demonic forces, with a grotesque demon’s head perched atop the dome; its gaping maw forms a deep, concealed entrance. Not only does it serve as a safe haven for fish and shrimp, but it also creates a visually striking, dramatically charged spectacle, instantly transforming the tank into a fantastical adventure theater.

Design Highlights:

  1. A Powerfully Impactful Demon Sculpture: The centerpiece of the design is the ferocious demon head at the top, with bulging eyes and exposed fangs. It gives the entire model a strong visual identity, and its wide, blood-red mouth cleverly doubles as a natural “evil sanctuary,” exuding an imposing, intimidating presence.
  2. A Break from Conventional Dome Designs: Unlike traditional square shelters, this hideaway adopts a form reminiscent of ancient domed structures, such as the Pantheon. The left side of the dome remains relatively intact, while the right side features a crumbling, jagged rock cliff—this asymmetrical, fragmented aesthetic greatly enhances the tank’s three-dimensional depth and complexity.
  3. Hidden Doorways and Rocky Pedestals: In addition to the large entrance in the demon’s mouth, there’s a neat arched doorway directly beneath the dome, and hidden passageways on both sides of the base. These multiple openings ensure good ventilation within the space and allow fish and shrimp with different habits to move in and out freely.
  4. Vividly Contrasting Cute-and-Cool Color Scheme: Despite its dark, magical appearance, the overall color palette features a soft matte pink. This combination of “cute colors + hardcore design” creates a delightful synergy, perfectly aligning with today’s popular “sweet-and-cool (Y2K)” aesthetic.

Technical Specifications:

  • Suggested Dimensions: Approximately 5–7 cm long, 5–7 cm wide, and 6–8 cm high (exact dimensions depend on printing settings). Compact and refined, it doesn’t take up much space in the tank.
  • Compatible Tanks: Ideal for guppies, lanternfish, and small shrimp species such as cherry shrimp and crystal shrimp, providing hiding and breeding spaces. For territorial bettas, it also makes an excellent “evil throne.”
  • Materials: We recommend using high-strength, aquarium-grade PLA or PETG for printing, ensuring the material is safe, non-toxic, and capable of preserving intricate details like the demon’s facial features and rocky textures.
  • Model Characteristics: Printed as a single piece, showcasing fine dome textures and the fierce, menacing expression of the demon sculpture.

Application Scenarios:

  1. The Shrimp Colony’s “Demon Lair”: Ornamental shrimp naturally gravitate toward dark, narrow caves. The demon’s gaping maw and the small doorway below provide them with double protection, allowing them to molt, rest, and incubate eggs—as if they’ve retreated into the belly of a deep-sea demon, imbued with a sense of fantasy.
  2. The Betta’s Majestic Watchtower: Bettas love structures that offer strong visual focus and a sense of security. They’re likely to perch atop the demon’s head or the highest point of the dome, displaying their magnificent fins to the outside world, as if declaring, “This is the domain of the Demon King!”
  3. The Cichlid’s Territorial Outpost: For small to medium-sized cichlids with strong territorial instincts, this totemic structure featuring a demon serves as an ideal stronghold for defining their territory. They’ll use it to drive off intruders and guard their “temple.”
  4. The Heart of a Miniature Dark Aquascape: Paired with black volcanic stones, dark substrate such as cosmetic sand mixed with black gold sand, and gracefully flowing dark aquatic plants like moss or water fern, it easily creates a miniature “Cthulhu Mythos” or “Demon Domain” themed landscape.
