I had a silly idea: hahaha! I have two furry kids at home who love corn worms, and I’ve been wanting to print a corn worm model to tease them for ages. So I took advantage of this event to make a few—and sure enough, they were totally fooled! Of course, if you have friends or family who are scared of corn worms, you can print one too and give them a little prank.

Even the real corn worms were drawn to their fake counterparts—talk about the real ones being scared of the fakes!

Tip: Before teasing your furry kids, be sure to leave the fake corn worms with the real ones overnight so they pick up some of the real corn worm scent. And don’t do it too often—over time, your pets might lose trust in you.

Of course, if your goal is just to scare people, you can use them straight away. Just remember not to put them near food—after all, 3D printing filaments aren’t food-grade, unless you’re using a chocolate or sugar-syrup 3D printer.
