The fifteenth Cat Tarot card, also known as the Fourteenth Arcana—Temperance—can be customized with additional parts to become a hanging plaque, used as a bookmark, or employed for divination. By attaching a magnetic backing, it can even serve as a refrigerator magnet, making it incredibly versatile!

A feline angel is pouring water from one chalice into another; this water symbolizes the soul and life itself. Some interpret the water in the right-hand chalice as representing consciousness, while that in the left-hand chalice stands for the unconscious; others see them as embodying the material and the spiritual realms, respectively. Regardless of the interpretation, the imagery conveys a dynamic interplay: no matter where the water originates or where it flows, it is always in motion. Isn’t this very process an embodiment of harmony and purification? The angel has one foot planted in the water and the other on dry land. In Western culture, water symbolizes the inner, spiritual world, whereas earth represents the external, material world. Thus, the angel’s stance reflects our constant oscillation between these two realms—and our deliberate effort to temper our desires and purify our hearts through concrete action.

The angel spreads her wings, signifying her attainment of balance. The halo above her head represents wisdom, shining in tandem with the radiant sun atop a distant mountain peak. The water and flowers surrounding her symbolize temptation. The Temperance card embodies the virtues of letting go and self-restraint. In a world brimming with allure and unrestrained freedom, finding inner equilibrium is of paramount importance. Though this state may appear unassuming, it is akin to calm amidst the storm—a profoundly inspiring force of unity. Such individuals exude a steady, composed strength, quietly achieving success through tranquility and poise.

The very name “Temperance” serves as a key keyword, suggesting it should be easy to grasp. Yet the term is inherently broad and abstract, often difficult to relate directly to specific situations, which can lead to confusion. In tarot, the concept of Temperance shares similarities with our notion of “the golden mean,” both emphasizing moderation. In life, we must strike a balance—neither overindulging nor falling short; like a bowl of water held evenly, neither tilting too far to the left nor to the right. We need to consider both ourselves and others, balancing the external with the internal. However, the balance of Temperance differs from the balance of justice: the latter prioritizes logic and tangible outcomes, whereas the former places greater emphasis on inner feeling. To conduct oneself with propriety, to understand the art of living, and to win others over not through coercion but through virtue—this is the true essence of Temperance.

The card face is an original design, measuring 8×12 cm with a thickness of 2.8 mm.
 

For optimal results, we recommend using a 0.2 mm nozzle; however, a 0.4 mm nozzle will also print normally, as shown in the image below.

Materials used:
If you’re printing with AMS filament, standard settings will suffice; if you’re using non-AMS filament,

start by printing in black,

switch to red at layer 10,

change to sunshine yellow at layer 19,

and finally switch to white at layer 27.
