Printing Inspiration

Printing Requirements
Material: PLA. Layer height: 0.2 mm—this setting strikes an optimal balance between structural strength and surface smoothness; for finer conical details, consider using a layer height of 0.16 mm. Support requirements: No overhangs or unsupported overhangs are present, so no supports are needed—simply print the entire model in one piece. Wall thickness recommendations: Maintain an outer wall thickness of ≥3 mm to ensure impact resistance and a satisfying weight in hand; the base should be at least 4 mm thick to prevent damage from hot cigarette butts. Dimensional guidelines: An outer diameter of approximately 80 mm, a height of about 70 mm, and a central hole diameter of roughly 20 mm—dimensions can be scaled proportionally based on personal preferences or specific use cases.
The model is designed as a single, integrated part; once printed, no additional assembly is required—simply sand down any burrs along the edges before use.
Post‑Processing Recommendations: Lightly smooth the inner conical surface and the edges of the central hole to avoid sharp edges that could scratch your hands; applying a high‑temperature–resistant clear coat can enhance stain resistance and extend the product’s service life.
If slip resistance is desired, you can either affix an anti‑slip pad to the base or incorporate textured patterns into the design during printing to increase friction.
