I used the HEPA filter cartridge module from my exhaust filtration box—details can be found in my Exhaust Filtration Box project.

The fan I’m using is a 12V 12038 high‑performance blower; the fan cable runs through the pre‑drilled hole and connects to the appropriate controller—such as a PWM speed regulator or a 4‑pin to DC power adapter.

Since this is a minimalist design, it only includes the mounting positions for the filter cotton and the fan; all circuitry-related components must be handled externally. If you’re unsure which configuration you’d like to use, you can start with this simplified version.

The noise level is somewhat high, but the suction power is quite strong. Additionally, because I aimed to minimize the overall footprint as much as possible, the air outlet is relatively small—if you find the suction insufficient, you can elevate the unit or mount it vertically for better performance.
