Gameplay Instructions: The Password Designer uses “Password Sticks” in various colors to create a 4‑digit code. The password grid is located at the bottom of the panel and remains completely concealed from view.

                  The Solver attempts to crack the code by arranging sticks of the correct color in the designated positions—once all sticks are correctly placed, the code is successfully deciphered.
                  For each row of guesses the Solver submits, the Designer must provide feedback using “Hint Sticks.”
                  A white stick indicates that the color is correct but the position is incorrect.
                  A black stick signifies that both the color and the position are correct.
                  If none of the sticks match, no hint sticks are placed—and there’s no specific order required for the placement of the sticks.
Example:

Suppose the secret code is Green, Blue, Red, Yellow.

On the first attempt, the Solver correctly identifies that the Red stick is in the right position, while the Yellow stick is the correct color but in the wrong position—resulting in a hint of 1 Black and 1 White.

On the second attempt, the Solver realizes that the Red, Green, and Blue sticks are all the correct color but in the wrong positions—yielding a hint of 3 Whites.

On the third attempt, the Solver correctly places the Green and Blue sticks in their proper positions, while the Red stick is still in the wrong spot—resulting in a hint of 2 Blacks and 1 White.

To increase the game’s difficulty: 1) When setting the password, you can use the same color more than once. 2) You can print additional base plates in different colors—there are six distinct color options available.
To make the game easier, you can print a “Universal Hint Stick” for the final round, which can substitute for any color (but not for a specific position). Feel free to allow the use of one or more Universal Hint Sticks, depending on the desired level of challenge.

The components are small and not suitable for young children; please keep them out of reach to prevent accidental ingestion.
