I officially joined nexprint—primarily for the competition—and, through continuous experimentation and refinement, I’m thrilled to introduce this gravity‑powered hook:
The minimalist gravity hook leverages gravitational force to allow a small ball to naturally drop and securely grip objects. Its effective gripping thickness is approximately 7.5 mm; however, we don’t recommend using it to clamp excessively thick items.
To maximize gripping performance, we recommend printing with rough‑surface filaments such as PLA+, PLA/PETG Glow In The Dark, or similar materials.
