Laser Mech Assembly Card

This is a small, assembleable card model inspired by the Laser Mech from “The Will to Conquer.”

I’ve redesigned the original pixel-art mech into a three-dimensional model suitable for FDM 3D printing, while preserving its iconic overall silhouette, bipedal structure, and large laser cannon. All parts are laid out across two cards; once detached, they can be assembled into a compact display piece.

The entire model features a snap-together design, requiring no glue for assembly.

This assembly card is perfect for those who enjoy the traditional experience of building models, or as a thoughtful gift.

If you prefer a more straightforward build, you can simply remove the outer frame from the card.

Model Features

  • Snap-together card design
  • No additional hardware required
  • Compact size with relatively short print times
  • Modular components, ideal for printing in different colors
  • Great as a desktop display piece
  • Part of my “The Will to Conquer” mech card series

Printing Instructions

We recommend using PLA or PETG filament.

Please maintain the original orientation during printing and lay the entire card flat on the build plate. The tolerances at the joints are designed according to standard FDM printing guidelines, though actual tightness may vary depending on your printer’s precision, filament quality, and calibration settings.

Assembly Instructions

  1. Carefully cut all parts from the outer frame and clean off any residual adhesive points.
  2. Assemble the laser cannon:

  3. Assemble the radar:

  4. Assemble the legs:

  5. Assemble the torso:

  6. Final assembly:
