Original Inspiration Behind This Creation

This project belongs to the Toys Battle co‑creation track. From an early age, the child has been fascinated by Jurassic dinosaurs and enjoys fidget toys that provide stress relief. Inspired by this passion, we conceived the idea of blending dinosaur culture with fingertip spinning toys. Leveraging 3D printing technology, we carved iconic images of Tyrannosaurus Rex and Triceratops onto the handle of a ring‑style spinner. The vintage wooden texture faithfully captures the rugged, primal patterns of prehistoric times. Meanwhile, the rotatable ring design helps develop fine motor skills while serving as a fun, everyday stress‑relief toy. Throughout the entire process, we researched scientific facts about these two dinosaurs, discussed sculpting details, and repeatedly adjusted model dimensions—working together as parent and child to complete modeling, printing, and finishing steps. In this way, every engraved pattern carries the warmth of our shared time, allowing the child to truly experience how their boundless imagination can be brought to life through technology.
