The Goblin Hand Cannon is a fun little toy—affordable and well-crafted. It’s available on both Alibaba and Pinduoduo; on Pinduoduo, with coupons, it costs less than 20 yuan. Unfortunately, the original version uses an ejection‑type shell mechanism, and its built-in tiny QQ‑style sponge pellets are too small to be compatible with Nerf darts. So I designed this modification: it replaces the original parts in situ (a two‑piece housing that can be disassembled by unscrewing just three screws), allowing you to use standard Nerf short‑barrel darts. Note that for a proper seal, you’ll need an additional gasket; since I didn’t have a suitable one on hand, I grabbed a soft pad, cut it to size, and glued it on—as shown in the photo, with a thickness of about 2 mm.

Because the original toy generates very little air pressure, if you try to load a dart from the rear, it may get stuck inside the barrel. In such cases, you can load it from the front instead—just treat it as a casual plaything and don’t worry about performance.
