Originally, I intended to create a design depicting the star pattern of Aquarius. However, considering that not all constellations have exactly 12 stars—Capricorn, for example, has only three—I decided against it and opted instead for a simpler, more universally appealing arrangement. To keep the model from becoming overly long, I designed it with a double-layered structure.

Thinking about the summer heat and realizing I didn’t have any ABS filament on hand, I used toothpicks to construct the central rotating axis—shorter ones look even better. This way, when you want to reveal the numbers, you can simply rotate the piece, or remove it entirely, without worrying about the material melting in hot weather.

To maximize space efficiency and minimize material waste, I incorporated retractable storage compartments, allowing everyday small items like coins, lip balm, or nail clippers to be neatly stowed away. Additionally, I crafted star-shaped hollowed-out nail clips to facilitate easy removal of the cover plate.

No glue, no supports, and no overhangs were required throughout the entire process.

The filaments used were Topo PETG Basic White and Topo PETG Basic Yellow, delivering excellent results with pleasing aesthetic outcomes.
