After moving to a new home, I placed the 3D printer on a large desk. With some unused space along the edge, I decided to build this wooden-rod connecting bracket to make good use of the leftover wood.
On top of this bracket, I plan to create a cable-car storage model, while below it will be a mine-cart storage model—stay tuned! (I’ve wanted to do this for a long time; originally, I intended to build the cable car under the desk, but after the move and a change in the room layout, I’ll have to finish it after completing two competition entries.)
The wooden rods can be easily removed, modified as needed, and then reinserted. You can customize the rods according to your needs—for example, by adding nails for hanging items or installing pegboards for additional storage.
