Design Concept
This bicycle wind gauge model measures wind speed in a simple and intuitive way, featuring brightly colored wind vanes that immediately catch the eye. The use of contrasting red and yellow colors enhances visibility and durability.
Applications
This is a rather distinctive bicycle accessory that spins in the wind as you ride, and it is also well suited as an educational tool for teaching fundamental concepts related to wind power and aerodynamics.
Printing Recommendations
We recommend using PLA material to improve durability. In addition, a medium print resolution is advised to ensure all details are clearly rendered, and the fan’s balance should be carefully adjusted to minimize friction and enable smooth rotation.
Assembly Instructions
Assembly is straightforward: the three wind blades must be evenly distributed to ensure stable rotation. The model features two mounting bases—one for clamping onto the bicycle handlebar and one for placing on a tabletop. The default handlebar clamp size is 25 mm; however, the model can be scaled proportionally to better fit specific real-world applications. Connections between components can be secured with a small amount of glue.
