Shanhaijing Mecha Series No. 97—“Dangkang” Type II Engineering Armored Tractor

This series features mechs inspired by mythical creatures from the Shanhaijing. In addition, there are also Bagua Mechas (based on famous mountains and rivers in each province, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Li, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and Mythical Mechas (modeled after iconic figures like Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).

The Shanhaijing series is further divided into several sub-series: Biological Form Series, Mechanical Form Series, Fighter Aircraft Series, Flying Vehicle Series, Warship Series, Battle Tank Series, Multi-Functional Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Rotating Engineering Armored Vehicle Series, Engineering Armored Truck Series, Military Armored Train Series, and so on.

This model is the first in the Engineering Armored Tractor line.

Simple, easy to build, easy to assemble, unlikely to fail, and resistant to breakage!

Note: 1. If the parts won’t stay in place when pressed by hand, use the tool hammer provided on the homepage to gently tap them into position.

        2. It’s best to apply glue or spray adhesive to the print bed to prevent printing failures; the most common reason for failed prints is a too-smooth print surface.

No supports are needed during printing (you can add a skirt yourself if the base isn’t sticky), and no glue or hardware is required for assembly (if the pieces are tight, press firmly or lightly tap them with a small hammer). This is a very convenient Chinese-style assembly model!

Dangkang:

Also known as the “Toothed Pig,” Dangkang is one of the divine beasts in ancient Chinese mythology—a lucky creature that heralds abundant harvests. It has the shape of a pig, six feet long and four feet tall, with a greenish body, large ears, and four long tusks protruding from its mouth like ivory, which hang outward.

Design Concept:

Since Dangkang is a symbol of abundance, the design focuses on a tractor related to farming and agriculture, with a side profile resembling a pig’s head and exhaust pipes shaped like large ears.
