Refrigerators often remain partially or fully open—whether due to being left ajar during use, or accidentally popping back open after being closed (like when you rely on your foot to slam the door shut)—leading to thawed frozen foods. For households with young children who might sneak into the fridge and open the door without permission, this refrigerator door lock offers a practical solution. The product comes in multiple height‑adjustable versions, allowing you to choose the one that best fits your specific refrigerator. Even if there’s a slight variation in mounting height, it won’t pose a major issue—and installation is a breeze: simply apply the included crystal‑backed double‑sided adhesive tape. Once the latch engages with the corresponding hook on the door, the lock automatically secures the door in place.

To activate the child lock, simply lightly squeeze the two protruding buttons and pull the door open toward you.

What’s more, the latch features a reversible mechanism: when you’re using the refrigerator frequently, you can flip the latch to keep the door permanently open. When you need to restore the door to its default closed position, just press the latch back into place.
