Printing Recommendations

We recommend using PLA or PETG filaments for printing. For the lampshade, you can opt for a transparent material—or even consider using glow‑in‑the‑dark filament for a truly unique effect. The blue lampshade shown in the product photos was captured under ambient light conditions, showcasing its self‑illuminating properties when no external light source is present.

Assembly Instructions

Once printing is complete, assembly is relatively straightforward. We suggest leaving adequate space for mounting the light source; you can install an LED bulb to extend the lifespan of the fixture while minimizing battery consumption. Both the bottom and top of the lantern are pre‑drilled with mounting holes—choose either bottom‑mounted or top‑mounted power supply depending on your preference. The decorative trim around the lampshade is crafted directly from 3D‑printed filament: after printing, simply thread a length of filament through the designated mounting holes to secure the trim in place. For the handle, use filament as well—after threading the filament through the appropriate holes, bend it into the desired shape, then gently heat the bend with a lighter to achieve a secure, durable connection.
