This eliminates the risk of loosening or poor contact over time, ensuring stable current delivery whether you’re powering your device or charging it, while significantly boosting both durability and safety.
2. Customized Complement: Dedicated Housing to Protect the Welded Joint
To enhance the overall user experience with this premium connector, I’ve designed a custom housing specifically tailored to complement it:
- The housing is precisely sized to fit the welded connector, fully encapsulating the soldered joint to shield exposed welds from dust, moisture, and environmental contaminants—extending the connector’s service life.
- The housing features smooth, burr‑free edges that not only improve grip but also prevent accidental scratches or abrasions that could damage the cable or connector, balancing practicality with robust protection.
3. Key Installation Tip: Fill Gaps with Adhesive After Welding for Added Stability
When installing, be sure to note: Once the DC connector has been securely welded to the cable and the connection has been confirmed as solid, apply a uniform layer of adhesive into the gaps within the housing. This step further secures the relative position of the connector and housing, preventing connector misalignment or housing loosening due to vibration during use. At the same time, it enhances overall sealing performance, ensuring the connector operates reliably even in challenging environments—such as on desktops or inside equipment—effectively eliminating any risk of “loose” connections.
