Inspired by the divine weapon “Da Shen Bian” from the legendary tale “Investiture of the Gods,” this piece is a quintessential emblem of the Chan Sect’s mystical prowess.
Measuring 3 feet and 6.5 inches in length, it features 21 distinct segments.
For ease of understanding, we can broadly categorize these segments into two types: those with defined joints are referred to as “bian,” while segments without joints are known as “jian.”
My model incorporates precisely those 21 joints—matching the original design—and thus qualifies as a “bian”: a rigid, segmented whip.
Please prepare your own steel or aluminum rod for assembly.
Three copies of the S2 file are required for printing.
This version includes internal reinforcing rods with a diameter of 10 mm; while steel rods are functional, they tend to be somewhat heavy. For optimal results, we recommend using lightweight aluminum rods instead.

Alternatively, you can use slicing software to divide the model into individual segments along planar surfaces—then simply thread a metal rod through each segment for a seamless, integrated look.
