“Star Trek” has always been one of my favorite films—it’s absolutely stunning, especially the iconic NCC-1701 starship.

This model was adapted from the work of the renowned international artist [martin.taichl], in homage to the original creator.

In the original design, nearly all components were printed using a multi‑color system, which is far from cost‑effective. I’ve redesigned it to allow for single‑color printing while maintaining aesthetic appeal, addressed the issue of the base support structure being prone to breakage, and eliminated unnecessary supports—making PETG filament printing even more efficient and streamlined.
