Design Overview
This “Guess the Fox” game set uses feathers as its central visual motif. This design language not only echoes the party theme but also gives the cards a distinctive tactile quality and strong visual identity.
The surface of every card is delicately engraved with intricate feather‑vein patterns, preserving the layered texture characteristic of 3D printing while enhancing grip friction and visual depth. The color scheme employs high‑contrast zoning, enabling players to quickly identify card types even amid a chaotic deck.
Gameplay Overview
The “Guess the Fox” is a bluffing tabletop game centered around numerical feathers worn on each player’s head. Players take turns calling out numbers to guess the total sum, and when challenging another player, they reveal their numbers to determine the winner.
How to Start the Game
Each player draws one feather from the deck and attaches it to their headband. While players cannot see their own number, others can. Typically, 3–8 players participate, and the game is suitable for ages 6 and up.
How to Take Turns Calling Numbers
Starting with one player, everyone announces a number (which must not exceed the total sum of all feathers). Moving clockwise, the next player must call a number higher than the previous one—or choose to challenge the prior player’s guess.
How to Determine the Winner
When a challenge is made, all feathers are immediately revealed to calculate the total sum. If the actual total equals or exceeds the challenged number, the challenger loses; if the total is lower, the challenged player loses.
Black Feathers
Black feathers serve several specific functions. Whenever more than one black feather appears in a round, the following rules always apply:
1. First, resolve any feathers marked with a question mark: Flip over the topmost feather in the deck, add its value to the total sum, then place that feather into the used‑feather pile.
2. Next, handle black feathers with a max value of 0: Combine them with the green feather bearing the highest number among those already played. If no green feather is available in this round, discard the black feather into the used‑feather pile.
3. Finally, process black feathers marked with “green ×2”: Double the total value of the green feather involved.
4. Black feathers represent a value of 0; once they appear in a round, shuffle all 36 feathers before ending the round.
