Recreating Childhood Toys with 3D Printing – the Maze Ruler
Clean the print bed and dry the filament before printing, especially if using transparent filaments
Choose your color scheme according to your preference; we recommend using light‑colored filament for the ruler body to complement the transparent shell—black filament performed poorly in our tests
You can modify the text parameters and adjust the height
If you’d like to print a monochrome ruler with embedded scale markings, simply delete the scale components and set the text parameters to negative parts
Before printing the maze ruler, double-check your settings: use Wall A and set the infill direction to 90 degrees
When printing the transparent shell, adjust the settings as shown in the image to ensure optimal transparency; once printed, secure it with a small amount of glue
For the transparent shell, please use the parameter settings I’ve provided
