Recently, Shanghai has been experiencing continuous rainfall, with thunder and lightning reported yesterday, which inspired me to create this:
I didn’t want to make an ordinary mesh draining basket—I wanted something with a distinctive design.
The bottom of the basket is openwork, and beneath the dark clouds there’s a streak of lightning. When you place a wet sponge inside, the droplets that fall look just like raindrops.
The base is glued together, and the back side is attached to the wall using nano-adhesive.
