  • Fish Tank Hideaway

This hideaway’s design draws inspiration from the rib-like skeletal structure of living organisms or the remains of some ancient aquatic creature. Departing from traditional solid or intricately hollowed-out forms, it employs an interwoven network of hollow tubular elements to create a three-dimensional shelter that is both secure and spatially engaging for small aquarium inhabitants.

  • Structural Design: The hideaway takes on a rounded, cage-like shape, constructed from several bent tubular components that intersect to form a rib‑like arrangement. This design not only appears visually light and open but also provides plenty of space for swimming and hiding. Its stable base ensures secure placement at the bottom of the aquarium, while the hollow interior allows water flow to pass through freely, maintaining effective water circulation.
  • Color and Details: The piece features a bright yellow hue, a highly saturated color that stands out vividly in the aquarium setting. Beyond serving as a visual focal point, this vibrant shade also offers fish an easily recognizable “landmark.” The surface clearly retains the 3D‑printed layer lines, which follow the curvature of the skeletal framework, lending the object a distinctive texture reminiscent of bone or wood grain.
  • Function and Aesthetics: More than just a shelter, this creation is a miniature landscape artwork for the aquarium. Placed at the bottom or in a corner of the tank, it satisfies the needs of fish and invertebrates for hiding and resting, while its open, permeable structure invites them to swim through, enhancing the viewing experience and making the aquarium appear more lively and unique.
