Compared to the traditional vertical orientation, laying it horizontally saves a significant amount of material.
I’ve designed three different configurations that can each accommodate 4, 5, or 6 Switch card cases, yet all three share the same footprint—only the tilt angle varies.
As long as the mounting holes conform to the standard IKEA pegboard pattern, shelves of the same dimensions can be seamlessly stacked in the vertical direction.
