Designed to match the interface and mounting holes of 3.5-inch hard drives, this adapter is compatible with 2.5-inch hard drives that are 7 mm thick. It supports NAS installations with backplates—please ensure there’s a 2 mm gap between the top and bottom drive bays, as insufficient clearance will prevent proper installation. Testing has shown that QNAP and MNAS backplates pair perfectly with this adapter; if you encounter any issues or have specific customization requests, please leave a message to let us know.

 

Note: This adapter does not currently support 2.5-inch hard drives that are 15 mm thick (planned for future updates).
