This is a hand-cranked music box in the style of a vintage record player, designed entirely by me.
You’ll need to purchase a spring-driven music-box movement separately; make sure to get both the winding key and the mounting screws.
Some parts of the model require assembly with glue—see the installation steps in the accompanying images.
Installation location for the spring-driven movement.
The white decorative pieces must be glued into the recesses on the central ring. Note that these pieces are reversible: the beveled side should face inward.
Cut a length of filament to the appropriate size to secure the record, and you may use a bit of glue if needed.
If you already have a hand-cranked music-box movement, you can print another one of my models—just click the image below to go directly to the page.
