Machine Insect Armor Series II – The Hercules Beetle Mechanical Form

This model is the third installment in the Machine Insect Armor Series.

First Model: JXCJ1 – Double‑horned Rhinoceros Beetle (Hercules Beetle) Mechanical Form

Second Model: JXCJ3 – Double‑horned Rhinoceros Beetle (Hercules Beetle) Insect Armor Form

Simple to assemble, easy to build, material‑efficient, highly detailed, quick to put together, resistant to failure, tough enough to withstand drops—and no supports required during printing! No glue needed for assembly either—just snap the pieces together with a gentle press or a light tap using a small hammer!

Note: 1. If the parts won’t click into place by hand, simply use a small tool to gently tap them into position, aligning them with the locking tabs.

        2. To prevent print failures, it’s best to apply a thin layer of adhesive or a light mist of release agent to the print bed—most issues with failed prints stem from an overly smooth print surface.

Prints require no supports (though if your base plate isn’t adhesive, you can easily add a skirt to improve adhesion), and assembly doesn’t call for glue or hardware—just apply firm pressure or give the pieces a gentle tap with a small hammer if they feel a bit tight. This is an incredibly convenient Chinese‑style assembly model!
