Shanhai Jing Mecha Series 132 – “Quan Shu” Type V Heavy‑Duty Mountain‑Boring Engineering Vehicle
This series features mechas inspired by mythical creatures from the Shanhai Jing. Other notable lines include the Bagua Mecha (based on famous mountains and rivers across China’s provinces, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Li, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and the Mythical Mecha (featuring iconic figures like Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).
The Shanhai Jing series is further divided into multiple sub‑series, including the Biological Form Series, Mechanical Form Series, Fighter Aircraft Series, Flying Vehicle Series, Warship Series, Battle Tank Series, Armored Tank Series, Multi‑Purpose Engineering Armor Vehicle Series, Rotary Engineering Armor Vehicle Series, Engineering Armored Truck Series, and Military Armored Train Series, among others.
This model is the Sixth Entry in the Heavy Engineering Series.
The first model is the 102 “Fei” Type III Heavy‑Duty Earth‑Moving Excavator
The second model is the 106 “Shuang Shuang” Type IV Heavy‑Duty Material‑Handling Grabber
The third model is the 107 “Zhu Huai” Type III Heavy‑Duty Bulldozer
The fourth model is the 110 “Bo” Type III Heavy‑Duty Toothed Saw Vehicle
The fifth model is the 119 “Quan Shu” Type IV Heavy‑Duty Impact Drill Vehicle
Simple to print, easy to assemble, material‑efficient, highly detailed, quick to put together, resistant to failure, tough enough not to break upon impact—and no supports required for printing! No glue needed for assembly either—just snap the pieces together with ease!
Note: 1. If the parts are too tight to press into place by hand, simply use the tool hammer provided on the homepage and gently tap the tabs into position.
2. To prevent print failures, it’s best to apply a thin layer of adhesive or a light mist of release agent to the print bed—after all, one of the most common reasons for failed prints is an overly smooth build plate.
Prints require no supports (though if your base plate isn’t adhesive, you can easily add a skirt to improve adhesion), and assembly requires neither glue nor hardware—just a firm press or a gentle tap with a small mallet if parts feel a bit snug. This is a truly convenient Chinese‑style assembly model!
Quan Shu:
It lives in the mountains, shaped like a horse, with a single horn adorned with spiral ridges—and it has the power to ward off fire.
Three hundred li to the north lies Mount Dai, where jade abounds above and azure-green stones flourish below. There dwells a beast that resembles a horse, bearing a single horn with intricate spirals; its name is Quan Shu, and it is said to possess the ability to repel fire. —From the Shanhai Jing: Western Mountains Chapter
