This eyeglass hook features a one-piece, vibrant green design with a sleek L‑shaped structure. The horizontal arm terminates in an inconspicuous slot that perfectly conforms to the edges of flat surfaces such as desks, bookshelves, and cabinet shelves—just as seen in the first image, where the hook snugly hugs the edge of the gray‑white desktop. The vertical arm extends downward into a smooth, curved hook that effortlessly cradles eyeglass temples (as illustrated in the first image, where the black sunglasses’ temples are securely and precisely engaged with the hook). Against the backdrop of a dark snake‑skin table mat and wooden grain–accented surfaces, the hook appears like a delicate sprout emerging from the edge, offering the lightest possible suspension solution for eyeglasses through minimalist physical intervention.
Design Highlights
Edge‑Adaptive Slot
The horizontal arm’s slot has been meticulously engineered to accommodate planar edges ranging from 5 to 30 mm in thickness, leveraging the inherent structural integrity of the material to bear weight—eliminating the need for drilling or adhesive bonding during installation (as shown in the first image, where the hook is securely anchored to the edge of the panel).
Anti‑Slip Curved Hook
A series of micro‑protrusions has been added to the inner surface of the curved hook, providing superior grip to prevent eyeglasses from slipping off even under slight vibrations (as demonstrated in the first image, where the black sunglasses remain firmly suspended). The hook’s tip has been rounded to avoid scratching the temple coatings.
Zero‑Space Invasive Design
The hook utilizes only the vertical space along the edge of a surface, occupying virtually no additional area on the desk or inside cabinets (as shown in the first image, where the hook maintains an almost invisible presence along the desktop edge).
High‑Visibility Color
The bright green hue remains clearly visible against both dark tabletops—such as the snake‑skin table mat in the second image—and light backgrounds—like the gray‑white desktop in the first image—effectively reducing the likelihood of eyeglasses being misplaced.
Technical Specifications
- Compatible Edges: Desks, shelves, cabinet doors, headboards, and more (edge thickness: 5–30 mm)
- Recommended Materials: High‑toughness PETG or ABS (designed to withstand repeated bending)
- Structural Details: Horizontal arm length: 4 cm; curved hook depth: 3.5 cm; load‑bearing capacity ≥ 500 g
- Printing Tips: It’s recommended to add textured surface patterns to the inner walls of the horizontal arm’s slot, and to ensure 100% infill for the curved hook to maximize strength.
Application Scenarios
▸ Temporary eyeglass storage points along the edges of desks and office workstations (as shown in the first image)
▸ Nighttime eyeglass storage compartments at the edge of bedside tables
▸ Hooks for aprons, pot brushes, and other lightweight items on the inside of cabinet doors (ideal for a wide range of light‑weight hanging applications)
▸ Tool racks mounted beneath wall shelves in workshops—for items like scissors and rulers
