  • Quick Connector

3D printers often require the material tubing to be removed for inspection—and in many cases, the access points are extremely awkward to reach. Particularly with the standard connectors built into the printer, repeated disassembly and reassembly can lead to loose connections or even damage to the hardware. This quick‑release connector offers a superior solution to these challenges. It’s especially beneficial for users of the AMS Lite who have sealed their AMS Lite enclosures—once you’ve sealed the machine, having this connector at the extruder outlet becomes essential. During the feeding process, material jams at the five‑way junction are common. With this quick‑release head, you can swiftly disconnect the tubing, manually feed the material into place, and then reconnect the line. I’ve personally tested this setup, and it works exceptionally well. The design differs from some other solutions on the market: the connection is a swivel joint that allows for rotational movement, effectively relieving stress in the feed tube and reducing friction. The model also features an arrow indicating the correct feed direction—while feeding in the opposite direction won’t cause issues, the internal geometry has been specially engineered with optimized slopes and chamfers tailored to the intended flow. Feeding in the designated direction ensures smoother material delivery throughout the entire process. Installation is straightforward: simply push the Teflon tubing all the way into both ends—make sure to insert it as far as possible.
