Printing Recommendations

We recommend using PLA or ABS filaments to ensure the model’s strength and durability. To guarantee smooth operation of the screw mechanism, it’s essential to carefully calibrate the print settings.

Assembly Instructions

Once the model is printed, simply slide the sleeve over the screw, then insert the bamboo dragonfly. Grasp the bottom ring with one hand and push the sleeve upward with the other—this will launch the bamboo dragonfly into flight. We suggest using this model outdoors; it can achieve a flight altitude of up to 20 meters. Before use, be sure to remove any burrs from the screw, then run the screw up and down a few times after inserting the bamboo dragonfly—the screw will become exceptionally smooth. I personally used PETG filament; thanks to its material properties, the surface is particularly slick, delivering outstanding performance.
