This type of launcher is quite unique: it uses a shim as the trigger, and by adjusting the shim’s angle, you can release the string to fire the projectile. I built my own crossbow featuring this firing mechanism—capable of launching markers or even crafting short arrows. While it packs a decent amount of power, be sure not to point it at people.
