Nice to meet you all—I’m Lucas Zao Wu

You might not know me yet, but you’ve almost certainly seen my work “Garlic Bird~” — though if you haven’t, well… I didn’t say anything, haha!

This is the very first piece in our new series: the Bear Succulent.

• No supports required for printing

• Requires 502 glue for assembly assistance

• Use flocking to achieve a more lifelike finish

• The filaments we’re using this time are Leisi PLA – Matte Green, Matte Wood‑Look, and Matte Peach Wood. Having experimented with many different filaments, these are currently the best color options for creating highly realistic plant models—natural-looking, affordable, and easy to work with.

Here’s a list of materials you’ll need:

• UV curing lamp (used to cure UV resin; can also be left under natural sunlight, though it takes longer to dry)

• UV resin (available pre-mixed on online marketplaces for around 10 RMB—many shops even include a UV lamp as a free gift or sell it as a bundle)

• Flocking powder (white, 0.5 mm)

• A single‑bristle brush (perfect for applying UV resin to your model)

• These are the key materials needed for flocking; if you’re not planning to use flocking, you don’t need to prepare them.

• 502 glue or CA40H glue

• Tweezers
