I had printed some other center skid plates for my Typhon 6s but none of them were as durable as I would have liked, especially as I wanted an ultra strong one for my Fireteam as well.

Thus, I made this one which uses 4 M4x12 BCS screws and 4 countersink adapters which go into the slots in the chassis to prevent cracking.

Durability

I design all the parts I post to be as durable as possible for a 3D printed part. These are no exception. I've tried to make this skid plate the proper shape to slide over rocks, sticks, logs, ledges, etc without catching or cracking the skid plate. The addition of the countersink fillers reduces the risk of breaking due to overtorquing.

In addition, real world testing has proved this as well. I personally use this design as my main skid plate on my Typhon 6s, my Fireteam 6s, and a Mojave 6s. I've had the skid plate on the Fireteam since I bought it 4 months ago and I still haven't needed to replace the skidplate.
