Ideas spark creation, and through creation, ideas become reality.

A picture can become something you can see and touch. A concept that once lived only in your mind can take physical form. Even something you thought was impossible to make with a 3D printer can be brought to life through creativity and making.

Whether it's turning a cherished image into a decorative piece for your home, bringing an imagined machine or object into the real world, or challenging what people think 3D printing can do—this is your chance to Make It Real.

There are no limits to what you can create, as long as your submission captures the spirit of 2D → 3D:turning a picture, idea, inspiration, or concept into a three-dimensional creation.

These are examples of creative approaches to get you started, not strict competition categories. Your submission only needs to demonstrate the spirit of Make It Real.

Have a picture that you have always wanted to bring into the real world?

It can be a portrait, an object, a scene, a piece of artwork, or even a landscape. Use the image as your inspiration and transform it into a 3D creation.

For this type of submission, please include the original image or visual inspiration along with your entry.

Have an idea that's been on your mind for a while? Or something you once thought was impossible to achieve through 3D printing?

Your starting point can be a sketch, blueprint, written description, concept, or simply an idea in your head. Bring it to life through 3D printing and show us how you made your idea real.

For this type of submission, please explain the original idea or concept in your entry description. The more detail you provide, the better.
