2025-10-27 10:58:12

Dear Nexprint Creators,

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to every creator who has actively participated in the “1 Million Creator Fund” over the past three months and contributed to enriching the Nexprint model library.

So far, Nexprint has awarded over $100,000 USD in model incentives to more than 2,000 creators.

We truly hope that every model published on Nexprint combines printability with practical value, bringing creativity and convenience to users’ everyday lives.

Based on current submission trends and valuable community feedback, we will be updating and refining the event's submission scope and quality standards.

Model Types Not Recommended for Submission

The following model categories may not align well with the direction of the Creator Fund in terms of design complexity, print value, or originality.

Please note that this does not mean these models are of low quality — you are still welcome to upload them to Nexprint as regular submissions.

Description

Flat / 2D Models

Keychains, bookmarks, coasters, fridge magnets, badges, coins, single-piece earrings, etc.

Even with added bases or thickness, these models do not fit the event’s focus.

Low Structural Complexity Models

Simple organizers, soap holders, cookie cutters, openers, hooks, mechanical standard parts (e.g. screws, nuts), print test models, etc.

Models with limited design creativity or functional differentiation.

AI / Generator-Based Models

Hueforge, lithophanes, relief panels, sculptures, lightboxes, hinge toys, vases, etc.

Models containing non-original graphics or copyrighted materials are not eligible.

Series or Similar Models

Basic/improved versions, single-color/multi-color versions, integrated/separate-part versions of the same model.

Models with only minor visual differences are not considered new creations.

Model Quality Requirements

To ensure a positive printing experience for users, models with the following issues will not pass event review:

1.  Unreasonable size: models that are excessively small or large, affecting printability.

2.  Poor print quality: unclear details, rough surfaces, or visible defects.

3.  Low print feasibility: unrealistic overhangs, distorted geometry, or merged meshes.

4.  Mismatch with cover: the cover shows colored details, but the model file is single-tone or incomplete.

5.  Incomplete print demonstration – support not removed, partially printed objects, or unclear model presentation.

6.  High print failure rate: Models that show a high failure rate during actual printing tests, or models that users commonly report as failing to print successfully.

*These adjustments will take effect on November 1, 2025.

Thank you for your continued creativity and support.

We hope these updates help more outstanding works gain fair rewards and exposure.
